hi guys. I didnt know here else to say this, so I'll say it here. I wanted to make HC aware that there are some amazing people on the forums. I ued o hang out in the bass forum lot but on March 2nd on this year I fell sick from a brain tumor. I could no longer play my bass and put it up on ebay for sale with my amp.
Some of the forumites connected the dots and one of them bid on the bass and amp. When he got here to pick it up, they had taken up a collection for me totalling $1750 for me unasked. Me and my wife both cried. There is no other internet forum like he HCBF and I wanted to let you know how great these people are. None of them had ever met me but they went so far beyond theres no way I can ever pay them back except by saying thnk you nd letting th wourld know of their gift. I hope this finds it's way to the right folks at HC.
It's very uplifting to hear about people coming together like this to help out a fellow musician. I wish you and your wife the best.
